It has been argued that President Barack Obama is one of the most disrespected presidents in the history of the United States. Whether you feel that the shade thrown at POTUS is a result of racism or just plain ol’ partisan rudeness, here’s a look at a few eyebrow-raising moments from the last four years.

Soon after landing in Phoenix on January 25, 2012, Obama questioned the governor of Arizona, Jan Brewer, about some of the things she had written about him in her new book. During their exchange, Gov. Brewer was snapped with her finger in the president’s face. Both parties downplayed the photo, with Brewer offered her own explanation of the picture, saying she “respect[s] the office of the president, and… would never be disrespectful in that manner.”
